What is Reiki?

Reiki (Ray-kee) is a wonderful relaxation technique that helps the body to heal on many levels. We all feel stress from our daily lives. Reiki promotes ultimate relaxation. People who have experienced Reiki report a wide variety of reactions to it, leading them to their own paths of healing and awakening. Reiki, a divinely-guided healing energy, allows the body to heal in it's own time and in it's own way, thus encouraging self-healing.

Reiki gently stimulates and increases energy levels to help begin opening these pathways. People report peace and calming during a session. While others experience heat or warmth. The effect is very individual.

Everything around us is made of energy. Reiki raises this level, encouraging healing. Whatever the body is needing at the time is what is received through the energy.

The Reiki "Master", or Practitioner is not the healer. The Practitioner is simply a facilitator to the energy. The Healer is within all of us and is greater than any individual. Tapping into your own self-healing is the key to Reiki. We all have our own innate wisdom. Reiki can connect and guide us to our greatest potential.
