Occupational Therapist and Lymphedema Therapist

Jill Allen is a Nationally certified Occupational Therapist (OT) and has a BA of Science and MA of Science in Occupational Therapy. She’s worked as an OT in Acute Care, Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Home Health and became certified as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in April, 2023.

Jill’s interests include Holistic and Integrative Medicine, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Lymphedema, Lymphatic system in health and disease, Stroke Rehabilitation, Somatic Experiencing, & Trauma Informed Care.

Jill was born to 2 Deaf parents and is fluent in American Sign Language. She understands that everyone has different capabilities and talents and some have been hidden due to traumatic experiences, injuries or illnesses. Her mission is to highlight your unique capabilities while assisting with rehabilitation and/or healing. Those who experience an injury, illness or disability often aren’t provided the environment and care to heal and thrive.

Jill has personal experience in rehabilitation and believes that healing is not linear – it takes time, the right tools, abounding compassion, empathy and validation. She is committed  to validating everyone where they’re at in their healing journey, and guiding them in their quest for health. Every person is deserving of quality care, and Jill wants to help you share your light with the world.
